Renowned Silicon Valley investor Tim Draper is more optimistic about the future of Bitcoin, expecting its value to grow 30 times. Draper expressed his firm confidence in Bitcoin's dominance as a global currency during an interview in November.
When the price of Bitcoin exceeds $90,000, he predicts that Bitcoin could rise 30 times, possibly reaching nearly $3 million. He explained, 'Bitcoin will become the currency of the future. I don't know if it will be five years, ten years, or when. But one day, you will be able to buy food, clothes, and housing with Bitcoin, and pay taxes with Bitcoin.'
He also reviewed his predictions about Bitcoin: 'I made my first prediction in 2014 when the price of Bitcoin was $180. I said it would rise to $10,000 three years later. Sure enough, by the end of 2017, the price of Bitcoin reached $10,000. Since then, I haven't been so prescient. I thought Bitcoin would reach $250,000 by 2022, but I think my prediction is three years late.' He attributed the delay to 'the government's weak stance, only regulating new technologies rather than encouraging them.'
