The Federal Reserve's monetary policy meeting in December will be held from December 17 to 18.
Earlier, at 2:00 AM Beijing time on November 8, the Federal Reserve lowered interest rates by 0.25 percentage points, bringing the benchmark rate down to 4.5%-4.75%, which was in line with market expectations.
Data shows that this is the second rate cut by the Federal Reserve this year, with a total reduction of 75 basis points, bringing the benchmark rate back to the level seen in February 2023.
Currently, the market generally expects the Federal Reserve to continue to cut rates by 25 basis points at the December meeting.
According to CME's "Fed Watch", the probability that the Federal Reserve will keep the current interest rate unchanged until December is 33.7%, while the probability of a cumulative rate cut of 25 basis points is 66.3%.
