PANews reported on December 1 that the machine intelligence network Spectral announced on platform X that it had received alerts regarding vulnerabilities in Syntax's bonding curve contract, resulting in a loss of approximately $200,000 in liquidity. Upon discovering the issue, immediate measures were taken to secure the platform and protect users, as follows:
- Access to the Syntax application has been temporarily disabled.
- The contract has been suspended to prevent any further programmatic interactions.
Currently, Spectral is collaborating with industry security experts to conduct a thorough analysis of the vulnerabilities, identify the root causes, and implement updates to restore the platform as soon as possible. The Syntax team stated that these measures are the most effective way to protect the community's interests and promised to provide detailed follow-up updates in a timely manner.
