Tech circles and Apple product enthusiasts are awaiting the launch of the iPhone 17 series, which is expected to be unveiled in September 2025, as the new series brings unprecedented changes, most notably the iPhone 17 Air, which reports indicate will be the thinnest ever in the company's history.

Leaks indicate that the iPhone will be between 5 and 6 mm thick, making it the thinnest iPhone in history. It is expected to come with a screen size between 6.1 and 6.7 inches, providing options to suit different users, according to MacRumors.

Smaller battery and advanced specifications

According to MacRumors, the iPhone battery is expected to be smaller than previous generations, which could impact battery life. The device will also include only one speaker, in a radical change from the design of previous devices.

The technology website, which specializes in news related to Apple products, explained that one of the most prominent features of the iPhone 17 Air is that it does not contain a slot for a traditional SIM card, as Apple will rely entirely on eSIM technology, in a step that reflects the development of communication technologies.

Advanced camera and new processor

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to feature a 24MP front camera, double the resolution of the iPhone 16 series. The device will also be powered by Apple's new A19 processor, with up to 8GB of RAM, which will boost performance and processing speed.

Although the price has not been confirmed yet, estimates and leaks indicate that the iPhone 17 Air will be priced between $899 and $1,199, making it a premium option for tech enthusiasts.
