Current legislation does not provide for state ownership of cryptocurrencies. Technically, this account is on the Kuna exchange. The Ministry of Statistics confirms that part of the funds from this account have been spent, but flatly refuse to provide the wallet data or its current state. The head and owner of Kuna Mykhailo Chobanyan commented to Bitcoin Magazine at the time of the rating that part of the assets are being spent and a detailed report on these funds will be available in a few weeks.

After the publication of this article, the press service of the Ministry of Statistics contacted the editors with a request to add a comment from the Ministry. It states the following: "Mintsifra does not manage the funds of the Aid For Ukraine crypto fund. The crypto initiative is managed by the Ukrainian crypto companies Kuna and Everstake. The Ministry of Digital only provides informational support."
