I was looking through Layer 1 coins and got interested in Algorand $ALGO . It had a big run-up in the past, but looking at its current trends, it seems like the strong hands (like the Ripple whale) that were once involved have largely exited. Technologically, Algorand claims to be superior, but it feels like $SUI is ahead. They also boast about being strong in RWA (real-world assets), but aside from Exodus, Ethereum$ETH is dominating everything. Most importantly, the Algorand Foundation holds 14% of the total circulating supply (compared to Ethereum’s 0.1% or Cardano’s 0.1%), and the Foundation keeps selling. So, whether you look at the charts or other perspectives, I don’t see any reason to buy. The critical question is: if Bitcoin drops from here, how far do you think Algorand’s price could fall?
