According to a report from CoinWorld, researchers from the Dfinity Foundation and Onicai have released the (Decentralized AI Manifesto), which outlines seven points to ensure that AI serves users rather than large institutions. Onicai CEO Patrick Friedrich stated that the centralization of AI could be exploited by large companies or governments to manipulate the masses. The solution is to run decentralized AI on permissionless networks through smart contracts, ensuring transparency. Onicai CTO Arjaan Buijk pointed out that AI companies focus on general models, neglecting customized models, which limits innovation. Cortex decentralized AI is set to launch in 2024, catering to enterprise needs. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei predicts that human-level AI will emerge in 2026 or 2027, earlier than the previously predicted 2030s.
