$REN $ACT $PNUT The Government of Japan has announced the establishment of a separate department to work on initiatives for the development of Web3 and cryptocurrency regulation.

It will be headed by Akihisa Shiozaki, the former secretary-general of the Web3 development project.

The new Prime Minister of Japan, Shigeru Ishiba, supports the use of blockchain technology and NFTs in regional development projects.
