Jeffrey Wilcke, the co-founder of Ethereum, has once again become the focus of market attention. On-chain data shows that he transferred 20,000 Ethereum coins (worth approximately US$72.5 million) to Kraken last night (28th), suspected of preparing to "sell the coins for cash."

CryptoQuant analyst Maartunn emphasized that this is the fourth time Jeffrey Wilcke has transferred ether coins to Kraken this year, and a total of 44,300 ether coins have been transferred so far, worth US$148 million, with an average price of US$3,342.

Despite this considerable transfer, Jeffrey Wilcke currently holds approximately 106,000 Ethereum coins, worth approximately $384 million.

According to CoinGecko market data, Ethereum was trading at $3,564 at the time of writing, down 1.6% in the past 24 hours.

In fact, Jeffrey Wilcke had the intention to cash out as early as 2019. At that time, he transferred 92,000 Ethereum coins to Kraken, which even caused an uproar in the cryptocurrency community, thinking that Vitalik Buterin himself was going to sell out, but Jeffrey Wilcke Wilcke jumped out and "surrendered" and said that he "originally planned to cash out to fund the game he developed." However, whether he actually sold the coins later was unknown to the outside world.

The co-founder of Ethereum also came to sell goods? 92,000 ETH suddenly appeared on the chain and were transferred to the exchange!
