The important thing is position, once you have position then just wait for people to set up a party for you to drink. But remember "when you're drunk" you have to stand up and let people clean up. If you don't stand up at the right time, you will become the one who cleans the table.
My personal opinion may not be the same as many people. But I'm willing to listen to positive suggestions to enjoy delicious parties together.
