JOHN DEATON CALLS OUT OPERATION CHOKEPOINT 2.0

John Deaton, the crypto lawyer who’s always in the ring for the industry, is turning the spotlight on Operation Chokepoint 2.0.

In response to Kraken CEO Jesse Powell’s post, Deaton is demanding an investigation into what looks like a coordinated effort to debank the crypto ecosystem.

This isn’t just a random vibe check either. Ripple’s Brad Garlinghouse and Custodia Bank’s Caitlin Long have faced similar roadblocks, and Nic Carter, the one who originally dropped the term “Operation Chokepoint 2.0,” was first to point out the pattern of crypto firms being iced out by financial institutions.

Big names like Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong and Deaton himself are naming names, with Sen. Elizabeth Warren called out as a key player behind the anti-crypto push.
