The biggest fundamental problem the crypto industry now has is liquidity. Smart liquidity is stuck in ETFs and the funnel cannot make it go to altcoins. Dumb liquidity all went to memecoins into the hands of some bad actors. They converted it to $BTC and cash. The sentiment for projects, VCs, KOLs, ... Is at a low you only see in the midst of a bear market. It feels so unreal. Projects don't find funding and don't have money to spend on BD, marketing, development, ... VCs are as dry as it can be. They don't deploy at all. Some major VCs didn't do a single investment for a year and are changing their business models even to try and get some cash coming in. From throwing millions at whitepapers in previous bull markets to not doing anything at all because there's nothing available. KOLs don't do any presales at all anymore. Every presale went rekt because nobody is buying at launch (no liquidity, again). Nearly nobody wants to do free allocations anymore since they all go -90% in no-time. Maybe the great cleansing has begun.
