Daniel Roberts, co-CEO and co-founder of the Bitcoin miner IREN headquartered in Sydney, stated that a hyperscale company (large cloud service provider) has approached the company about possibly hosting AI infrastructure at IREN's mining facility in Sweetwater, Texas. He said, "Two hours ago, we received an email from a trillion-dollar hyperscale company expressing interest in Sweetwater," Roberts did not disclose many details.

Additionally, IREN's cost of mining Bitcoin is about $29,000, significantly lower than the market price of approximately $96,000, Daniel Roberts stated that the company has the opportunity to accumulate Bitcoin at a discount compared to other companies paying the spot price.
