Scalping is a strategy based on short positions and quick entry and exit from trades. It requires high concentration, quick reaction, and a good understanding of market movements on short time frames. This can be particularly effective in high liquidity conditions.

Intraday trading is trading within one day. Traders using this strategy try to take positions for a short period, but longer than scalpers. This allows them to profit from more pronounced price movements throughout the day.

Swing trading is a method that allows capturing larger price movements and holding positions for a longer period (from several days to several weeks).

Personally, I mostly choose swing trading.

  • I tried various trading methods such as spread collection; I didn't like the overly active trading in constant search of new coins, which doesn't allow trading with large volumes.

  • Taking breakouts is certainly good, but the price often moves in a choppy manner with retracements, and where to logically place a stop is not always clear. However, the price will reach its target in any case, including false breakouts and deviations. I have watched a lot about this topic to discern them, and I realized it's better to study the logic of this movement to understand better where to expect and where not.

Density levels often set false ones, this is just one of the manipulative tactics.

From all this, I realized it's better to take the entire movement, no matter how unclear it may be at the moment.

I often noticed that some coins reach their targets, frequently hitting stop losses, and locally move in a very unclear manner, almost never allowing a good stop loss entry, and in the end, the price reaches the desired point, resulting in only a small portion being taken.

That's why I switched to swing trading, and my win rate has only increased.
