I see many people in the cryptocurrency circle think making money is easy; throw in ten thousand and wait a few years to turn it into a million. The reality is far from that simple! This idea is simply a dream; the market has never been this friendly to novices.

Let me describe the real daily life of a cryptocurrency novice: when I first entered the market, I was ambitious and thought I could be a successful value investor like Buffett. The next day, I woke up and saw that my money had been halved. That night, I tossed and turned in bed, unable to sleep, dreaming about the coin prices. From then on, the first thing I would do when waking up in the middle of the night was check the coin prices, fearing that my money would be gone when I woke up.

After a whole year, it was simply a nightmare. The coin price was like a roller coaster, going from 1000 in the morning to 6000 in the afternoon, exhausting people beyond recognition. When I finally endured to 8500, I thought I'd pull out at 9000, making a little profit and running. But thinking about the previous patterns, this wave would surely retrace to 6000, right? Without thinking, I sold at 8500, preparing to buy the dip.

As a result, this time I was truly slapped in the face by the market. The coin price just kept rising and never returned to 6000. I was anxious, afraid of missing the opportunity, and gritted my teeth to chase back to 8500. It finally rose to 9000; I didn't lose money, but I had lost more than half of my coins. Just when I was feeling good, it dropped to 7000, and I was completely devastated. Finally, it slowly rose to 12000, and after calculating, the annual return was a pitiful 20%, but I had to comfort myself by saying it was much higher than bank interest.

This is a true portrayal of a novice: going all-in without understanding the risks, quickly admitting defeat after losing, and chasing highs and cutting losses, exhausting themselves. They stare at the market every day, their emotions follow the K-line; when it rises, they are so happy they can't sleep, and when it falls, they are so distressed they can't eat. Not only does their quality of life plummet, but their wallets are also slowly shrinking.

To be honest, many people think they can withstand the torment of the market, but those who have truly experienced it know that kind of suffering is not something ordinary people can handle. The market always has various ways to harvest your chips and test your patience.

So don’t think you can make money by just lying down; the cryptocurrency market has never been friendly to novices. To survive in this market, having money is not enough; you also need a clear mind and strong psychological resilience.
