Techub News reports that, according to Reuters, the Governor of the Central Bank of Morocco, Abdellatif Jouahri, stated at an international conference held in Rabat that the bank has drafted a legal bill regulating cryptocurrency assets, which is currently under review. Additionally, the bank is exploring Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

Since 2017, Morocco has banned the use of cryptocurrency.
