Dogebox will provide tools for retailers:

• Operate a node to participate in decentralized transactions and receive rewards when Dogecoin is used.
This system aims to create a sustainable decentralized payment ecosystem while lowering the barriers to using Dogecoin in commerce.
Three Comprehensive Development Phases
According to the development roadmap of the Dogecoin Foundation, the project has three main objectives:
1. Develop the Dogecoin developer community and expand accessibility. (Completed 90%)
2. Lower the barriers to using Dogecoin and prepare for its application in commerce. (Completed 100%)
3. Increase Dogecoin's global processing capacity to meet the scalability requirements of a global currency. (In development phase)
Seeking Major Sponsors for 2025
The Dogecoin Foundation aims to seek more major sponsors to support the development of Dogebox. Although it has not specifically announced the amount needed to raise, the funds will focus on building infrastructure and encouraging community participation.
Challenges and Potential
Dogecoin is currently priced at $0.40, down slightly 3% in the past 24 hours, but has recently reached a three-year high of $0.475.
• Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, previously funded the Dogecoin Foundation. However, it is unclear whether he will continue to support it as Ethereum faces many scalability challenges.
