Bitcoin Plummets Late at Night! Over 170,000 Liquidations

On the night of November 25 to the early morning of November 26, Beijing time, the price of Bitcoin fell after reaching about $99,000 per coin, briefly dropping below the $93,000 mark, with a maximum decline of over 6%.

In addition to Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies also experienced varying degrees of decline, with Dogecoin dropping over 9%. However, Ethereum performed relatively strongly.

In the last 24 hours, over 170,000 liquidations occurred in the cryptocurrency market, with a total liquidation amount of $547 million.

Affected by the sharp decline in the cryptocurrency market, MicroStrategy's stock dropped over 4% that day. After hours, the stock continued to decline, briefly falling about 4%. Last week, there were reports that the company purchased over 50,000 Bitcoins. Previously, as Bitcoin prices soared following Trump's election victory, the company's stock price also rose significantly, with a cumulative maximum increase of over 100%.

In addition to the cryptocurrency market, overnight gold, crude oil, and other commodity markets also experienced significant declines. By the close, spot gold in London, spot silver in London, COMEX gold, and COMEX silver all fell over 3%, with WTI crude oil down 3.03% and ICE Brent crude down 2.75%.
