The problem is that DEX MMs operate with little transparency unlike CEX MMs, which provide detailed reports on upkeep and depth. With DEX MMs, you have no idea what you're signing up for. They might promise: • Increased volume • Securing runway • Protection against snipers But what you could end up with is a heavily manipulated pump and dump. Not all MMs are evil but the takeaway from the Meteora / Kelsier / $LIBRA episode is to be careful what you sign up for. Be also skeptical of anyone suggesting you to get a MM. PnDs benefit insiders while leaving you with a wrecked chart and a lot of angry holders. LFJ would never recommend a market maker to any projects.
