Techub News reported that the startup Metalayer has filed documents with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to establish a $25 million cryptocurrency investment fund. According to knowledgeable sources, the co-founders of Metalayer are three experienced individuals from Two Sigma Ventures. Metalayer completed its initial fundraising last Friday, committing $20 million in capital and plans to complete the full fundraising by the end of the year.

 

It is reported that Two Sigma is known for its hedge funds, managing approximately $60 billion in assets. Metalayer has also raised funds from other supporters, including family offices and executives from various cryptocurrency protocols.
