How exaggerated are transaction fees?

In the current environment where it's getting harder to make money in Web3, more people are starting to pay attention to transaction fees. How high are the fees that were previously overlooked? Let me calculate an example for everyone.

Let me take 10,000 U as an example: the spot trading fee is 0.1% per transaction, so the fee for one trade is 10,000 * 0.1% = 10 U, buying and selling once each will cost 20 U. Do not underestimate this. If you trade once every 3 days, that's 120 trades in a year, and the fees will be 20 * 120 = 2400 U, which is 24% of the principal. If you trade once a week, that's 50 trades in a year, and the fees will still be 1000 U, which is 10% of the principal.

If your principal is 100,000 U, then after a year, just in fees, you would lose 24,000 U, which is equivalent to losing a Tesla after two years.

As for contracts? The fees will only be higher. Opening 10 times with 10,000 U, the fee for closing a position once is principal * multiplier * rate = 100 U (Taker rate 0.05%). Trading contracts will be even more frequent; if you trade once a day, in just 100 days, all your principal will be worn away by fees. This is one of the reasons I do not recommend you play with contracts; the fees are unbearable.

Based on your own principal and trading frequency, you can roughly calculate how much of the 1 billion dollars in profits from BN in a year is contributed by you. The main fees are like a dull knife cutting meat, slowly draining your principal while you remain unaware. Only by calculating it in detail can you realize how exaggerated it is.

How to operate to receive fee rebates?

——You only need to register a new account and complete identity verification. You can ask family and relatives around you, anyone you trust. If everyone around you has already registered, you can find an old account that hasn't traded for more than six months and rebind the commission relationship through the invitation link. A 35% rebate will be settled once a month and transferred directly to you through UID.

Finally, do not find it troublesome; this matter is a one-time effort. If you do not take this money, it will be taken by the exchange. It's like buying insurance; if you buy from the insurance company, it's 10,000 yuan, but if you buy from a friend, it's also 10,000 yuan, but they can give you a commission of 2,000 yuan, which is free money for you. Those who have opened a commission return can receive an extra salary every month, and that feeling is great.
