We’re excited to announce our strategic investment in Moemate (@MoemateAI). This is KIP’s entry into the very popular AI Agent space and part of our long-awaited expansion into DeAI + Entertainment.
Why is this important?
We believe that the AI Agent space represents the cutting edge of innovation and see Moemate as the potential “Apple” of AI Agent platforms. Easy to use and fully featured, Moemate is designed to be accessible to everyone.
http://Moemate.io currently hosts over 500,000 advanced AI agents and serves a community of over 5 million users. They have been featured extensively in leading technology media since 2023 and are widely recognized as one of the earliest innovators in the space.
You may have heard that Moemate made headlines for deploying the first live AI Agent on TikTok and Twitch.
• In just 24 hours, they launched Nebula (@nebula_moemate), a fully functional AI agent on TikTok.
• The next day, they watched a live roast on Twitch between their mascot Nebula and ai16z's mascot Eliza (@elizawakesup).
Our journey with Moemate began when they selected KIP as their Web3 delivery infrastructure partner in July 2024. At that time, we identified DeAI + Entertainment as one of our core focus areas (alongside Education and Commerce), and Moemate stood out as a leader in this space with exceptional user engagement and retention metrics.
Today, our investment in Moemate reflects our deep confidence in their vision, technical leadership and execution capabilities.
There are more exciting areas of technical and commercial collaboration between Moemate and KIP on the way. Let's just say we are working on MANY, MANY things!
