For over 11 years, Howells has persistently searched for the hard drive in landfills, driven by the hope of recovering his lost fortune. In an effort to incentivize recovery, he has publicly offered a 25% reward equivalent to $200 million at current valuation to any person, entity, company, institution, or government that successfully retrieves the hard drive.
