X Payment is coming, will there be Dogecoin in WeChat Transfer 2.0?
A screenshot of podcaster Joe Rogan's X profile was shared in a post by Musk, which included a dollar sign, hinting at the platform's tipping payment service, and one user speculated that this might be related to the transfer of funds from X Payments.
Musk confirmed this by replying "correct". $DOGE
Dogecoin prices fluctuate wildly whenever news breaks about payment services from Elon Musk's companies, including X, formerly Twitter. Musk has repeatedly stated plans to make X an "all-in-one app" that includes payment transactions between users. X Payments LLC currently has a money transfer license in most states in the United States, except New York.
Many in the cryptocurrency circle predict that when this payment service goes live, Doge may become part of the trading system, especially since Musk has long supported the meme coin. Tesla, Musk's electric car company, currently accepts DOGE as a payment method for certain products in its online store.
