Will Ethereum catch up and stop the round?
Ethereum has been underperforming in this round of market, and has been increasingly criticized.
It has been the object of ridicule on social media. Bitcoin is almost 100,000, but it is still fluctuating around 3,300, about 33% lower than the all-time high of 4,878 in November 2021.
Although Ethereum has been hovering around 3,000 for weeks, it seems ready for change. Optimistically, Standard Chartered Bank analysts predict that the price of Ethereum will rise to $10,000 by 2025. A cryptocurrency-friendly government is expected to create favorable conditions for the industry.
Since November 5, Ethereum has risen 35%, lagging behind Bitcoin's 45%, Solana's 62% and XRP's amazing 180% increase.
Lao Li attributes Ethereum’s slower progress to several factors:
Lack of a clear narrative: As Bitcoin dominates the “sound money” narrative and Sol attracts attention with speed and efficiency, Ethereum has struggled to define a convincing identity.
ETF launch timing: The Ethereum spot ETF was launched in July, coinciding with the historically thin summer trading season, which dampened market excitement.
Institutional hesitation: According to reports, market interest in Ethereum has dropped significantly, indicating that the proportion of investors has dropped from 63% in June to 26% in recent months.
Ether’s mixed value proposition has also deterred traditional investors.
Despite the challenges, Ethereum remains a major force in the market and is working hard to consolidate its position. Ethereum researchers to increase decentralization, improve infrastructure and guard against future quantum computing threats.
Finally, Lao Li predicts that Ethereum will definitely make up for the losses in certain periods. The open interest of Ethereum options largely favors bullish positions, and 4,000 can serve as a potential rebound point.
If you want to seize this bull market, it is definitely too late to learn and sell now. It is best to have someone to guide you to get started quickly.
