Tonight, I attended a small gathering with fellow cryptocurrency enthusiasts.
We talked about some deep insights and realizations.
Let me share with everyone.
Last month, they organized a simulated holding game with enthusiastic participation from 200 people. Apart from BTC, however, we found that almost none of the coins selected could outperform BTC's rise.
What important questions are hidden behind this?
I want to say that many people may be misled by those 'legendary' stories in the market—for example, someone made a fortune from just one SOL. These stories are often carefully packaged and disseminated, akin to the randomness of winning the lottery; they are more of a sensational gimmick. However, novices may become excited, thinking that they are the next millionaire...
Can we find a good coin besides BTC, ETH, and SOL?
It is incredibly difficult to truly discover a good coin and dare to invest heavily. It requires you to have advanced insights, able to capture opportunities before others notice; at the same time, you need to have strong execution and belief to turn insights into action. But both insight and execution need to be present simultaneously.
Also, after choosing well, holding onto the coin may seem simple, but it is actually difficult.
It is not just about staying calm when the coin price falls.
Because the real test lies in your heart.
Your emotions will greatly influence your decisions, and they can change your mindset at any moment.
Therefore, holding onto the coin is more about inner cultivation and persistence; you need some belief, and this belief arises after your choice.
For example, SOL was once $9 and almost everyone dismissed it, facing lawsuits from the SEC, FUD; at that time, I noticed that the market was overwhelmingly bearish. Even some institutions were shorting SOL. Now everyone is optimistic about SOL, but in fact, the fundamentals of SOL have not changed; what has changed is your own emotions.
Finally, I want to say that finding a better coin than BTC, ETH, and SOL is truly a very difficult task. Because in this complex market, there are not many coins that are truly valuable and have potential.
On the road of trading cryptocurrencies, each of us is a learner and an explorer.
May we all maintain a humble yet steadfast heart and keep moving forward.
