President of Russia Vladimir Putin and his team supported the development of mining in the country. He discussed the prospects of the cryptocurrency mining industry in a meeting with the head of the faction of the 'New People' party in the State Duma, Alexey Nechayev.
First of all, the head of state noted that in some regions there is already a shortage of electricity due to mining. According to Nechayev, this activity should be conducted in surplus areas, while significantly increasing the volumes of mining.
