North Korea's $41.5 Million Cryptocurrency Theft Case Confirmed

​South Korea has confirmed that North Korean hackers stole $41.5 million worth of cryptocurrency from Upbit in 2019.

​The theft was led by the Lazarus and Andariel hacker groups, tracked through IP addresses, language analysis, and FBI assistance.

​North Korea sold 57% of the stolen tokens and laundered the remaining tokens through multiple exchanges.
