BlockBeats news, on November 19, the decentralized AI project Morpheus announced the launch of its mainnet. The project aims to reduce the negative impacts of artificial intelligence, such as centralization, censorship, and data monopoly control.

Similar decentralized AI projects include Bittensor, dAIOS, and Boltzmann Network. Morpheus recently joined the Decentralized AI Association, an industry organization dedicated to combating the significant control of AI data by tech giants.

Morpheus is built using the codebase of the Lumerin protocol on the Arbitrum chain, launched in July on a public testnet or simulated experimental environment. The project promises to provide personal AI, also known as 'smart agents,' which can empower individuals much like personal computers and search engines did decades ago. The team stated that, among other tasks, the agents can 'execute smart contracts, connect to users' Web3 wallets, DApps, and smart contracts.' (CoinDesk)
