Shiba Inu Developer Wants Trump to Hire Blockchain Advisor
Donald Trump should employ a blockchain adviser, according to Shiba Inu principal creator Shytoshi Kusama.
The advise followed allegations that the Trump administration was considering a blockchain-based electoral system.
This would be expected given Trump's recent nominations of crypto supporters to key federal positions.
Shiba Inu main creator Shytoshi Kusama has urged President-elect Donald Trump to hire a blockchain adviser.
The newly founded Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) is apparently considering a blockchain-based voting system.
Kusama Justifies Trump's Blockchain Advisor Hire On November 15, Kusama voiced worries about Trump's team's blockchain election platform study. Rumors suggest that the "eVote" system will collaborate with major blockchain platforms like as Cardano, Hyperledger, Hedera, and X (previously Twitter). It seeks nationwide computerized voting and identification verification.
This project requires all US states to use eVote to fight election fraud. Analysts say this coincides with Trump's longstanding interest on election integrity, especially given prior electoral scandals.
The proposal has gained popularity, but Kusama insists on adding Fully Homomorphic Encryption. This strong encryption protects voter data on the blockchain and from outside attacks.
Kusama noted that without FHE, hostile actors may decode voter identities and preferences. This vulnerability might cause considerable disruption. He stressed that encryption must withstand quantum computing threats for on-chain and off-chain security.
Without FHE, this idea collapses. Here's why. Protect votes via quantum-proof encryption, not simply on chain. Bad actor countries decipher votes and publish wallets and voter lists. Chaos ensues, Kusama said.
The Shiba Inu creator asked Trump to hire a blockchain adviser to address these issues. This position might connect technology and policy.
