Celestia officially issued a statement stating that the Ginger upgrade has been successfully launched on the Mocha test network. This upgrade brought significant performance improvements. Ginger doubled the throughput and shortened the final confirmation time of a single slot from the original 12 seconds to 6 seconds. In addition, the Ginger upgrade also unlocks 1.33MB/s bandwidth, which will further enhance the network’s data processing capabilities. These improvements will help improve the efficiency and user experience of the Celestia network.
