Shytoshi Kusama, the renowned developer behind the success of Shiba Inu (SHIB), has refuted criticisms against the token amid the latest market rally. Addressing market observers who have been shocked by the surprising momentum of the SHIB token, Kusama revealed some of the foundational attempts to power the token.

Shiba Inu's Kusama Shizuko speaks

“For those who don’t understand why a meme like#SHIBis able to rally with the big guys…it’s time to show our strength, technology, and innovative thinking to get out of the bear market,” he added. As part of this effort, Kusama announced that he will be engaging directly with the community through a podcast to share insights on Shiba Inu’s development and the bigger picture, CNF reported.

Nonetheless, Kusama’s announcement strongly suggests a paradigm shift in the way Shiba Inu communicates and interacts with its users. As such, Kusama said future podcasts and other communications projects will build on the “strong framework” Shiba Inu has already formed. It will showcase the inherent resilience of the ecosystem that remains despite market volatility.

According to CNF, Shibarium is a layer 2 blockchain solution in the Shiba Inu ecosystem that has proven to play an important role in improving scalability and reducing transaction-related costs. Shibarium has been expanded to demonstrate its potential in the world of decentralized finance, non-fungible tokens, and more. Shibarium's development represents a step towards technological maturity, bringing Shiba Inu closer to mainstream market acceptance of cryptocurrencies.

Additionally, Kusama’s upcoming podcast will unveil Shibarium’s technical prowess. It will honestly show what it brings to Shibarium and how it changes the game for the Shiba Inu ecosystem. His message to the community also seems to point out that capabilities are key to the strategy that the ecosystem needs to be competitive and get rid of another meme token.

Recent government proposals

Among other actions, Kusama has put forward a conceptual proposal to establish a Strategic Center for Innovation and Blockchain (SHIB) in a U.S. city. The essence of the SHIB program is to lead the United States on the international stage in the blockchain field and propose initiatives for economic development and job creation.

In addition, it also aims to develop national security enhancement plans through the adoption of blockchain. The center will adopt sustainable practices according to the proposal, both for environmental reasons and for economic reasons. This policy is in line with the emerging interest in positioning the United States as a blockchain leader.

The idea seems to be inspired by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). While Trump has expressed support for Musk, Kusama’s SHIB proposal has yet to gain traction among government officials. However, it still suggests that there is more room for Shiba Inu to shape blockchain and economic policy.
