FTX has filed a lawsuit against Anthony Scaramucci and his hedge fund SkyBridge Capital as part of a broader effort to recover funds for the bankrupt company's creditors. The lawsuit against the former White House communications director was one of 23 lawsuits filed on Friday in Delaware bankruptcy court. Court documents show that the plaintiffs also include the digital asset exchange Crypto.com and political groups like FWD.US founded by Mark Zuckerberg.
FTX claims that because Scaramucci has been 'seeking rescue,' Bankman-Fried invested $67 million into various ventures of SkyBridge in 2022. Documents indicate that assets managed by SkyBridge have fallen from a peak of $9 billion in 2015 to $2.2 billion. Scaramucci's representatives declined to comment.
