Legendary trader Peter Brandt made a remarkable comparison between Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL).
Brandt stated that both cryptocurrencies have the potential to break upwards along with Bitcoin, and that Solana has reached new highs, making it more attractive for investors.
Brandt said that Solana saw strong momentum in its price action, while Ethereum was struggling with a heavy resistance zone. Brandt said, “Solana is rising by making new highs, while Ethereum is trying to cope with the selling pressure on it.” In this context, Brandt stated that he always prioritizes assets that reach new highs, and argued that Solana is a more attractive option for investors.
Brandt, who has been harshly critical of Ethereum, called ETH a “completely broken utility token.” “The complexity and cost of using Ethereum are horrendous worldwide,” Brandt said, noting that these issues make it difficult for ETH to be adopted more widely.
Brandt’s statements rekindle discussions among investors about the future of Ethereum, while also indicating the growing interest in Solana’s performance.
