Ultimately, Wang was sentenced to life imprisonment for espionage by the people's court, and was deprived of political rights for life. The unit where Wang worked did not strictly implement secrecy management systems and protective measures, providing an opportunity for Wang to steal secrets for foreign spy intelligence agencies. The national security agency, together with relevant departments, conducted joint law enforcement work against Wang's unit in accordance with the law, ordering it to rectify within a specified time.
