- The highest open interest is at $80,000 with a value of $1.7 billion, according to Deribit.
Greeks Live says the election market is starting to cool down, although Bitcoin and Ethereum remain buoyant. "BTC doomsday options are down below 50%, and volatility is down."
In addition to Bitcoin, there are 294,000 Ethereum options contracts also set to expire, bringing the total value to $4.5 billion.
Bitcoin hit a new record of $76,872, and Ethereum also rose to $2,950. Altcoins like Solana and Cardano also joined the fun with daily gains of 5% and 14%, respectively.
