There is a foolish method of trading cryptocurrencies, with 200,000 capital earning 20,000,000
Let me talk about myself. I got into the big bull market in 2017 and made my first 10 million right away, but later I got carried away and lost all my earnings. After a few years of adjustment, I started trading cryptocurrencies full-time.
Regarding my own experience, I divide it into four stages based on time.
First Stage (2016-2017). Ignorance is fearless; making money until losing reason. I entered the crypto space in 2016 (I first heard about it in 2013) and caught the big bull market in 2017. With a capital of 100,000, I reached over 10 million at the peak. Two cryptocurrencies left a deep impression on me: one is GXS, where I participated in a private placement with 2 BTC at 6,000 each, and when it opened, it was worth 3 million. The other is Antshares (later renamed NEO), where I bought 10,000 at 1 each, and it peaked at over 1,000, meaning a single cryptocurrency went over 10 million. Then I got carried away and thought I was invincible, so I set a small goal to earn 100 million, and I would stop once I reached that. Then... then came a story of 'a person filled with desire, believing they are invincible, being taught a harsh lesson by the market.'
Second Stage (2018-2019). Reflecting on myself, I realized it was just because the market was too good and I was lucky, precisely standing on the trend; to put it simply, I was a pig on the windfall, and taking off was inevitable. The second lesson was about capital management. Small capital has its way of playing, and large capital has its own way; you cannot use small capital thinking to play with large capital, or you will face severe consequences. After coming to this understanding, I tidied my emotions and reallocated my holdings, clearing most altcoins and replacing them with BTC, ETH, and USDT.
Third Stage (2020-2021). Reasonable allocation and timely profit-taking. After experiencing a complete bull-bear cycle, my mindset became much calmer. Additionally, as the crypto market entered another rising cycle, my assets began to appreciate continuously.
Fourth Stage (2022-?). Cultivating inner strength and believing in the future. I have unwavering faith in the future of the crypto space; surpassing the previous peak is inevitable. Right now, we only need to do one thing: do not exit the market and continue holding quality assets; we will surely reap great rewards in the future.
