He told FOX Business that one direction for the agency under Trump's leadership is to pause new enforcement actions against companies that fail to register until some clear rules are established.
Mark Uyeda stated: 'The war on cryptocurrency by the Commission must end, including enforcement actions against cryptocurrency solely based on non-registration without allegations of fraud or harm. President Trump and American voters have sent a clear message. Starting in 2025, the SEC's duty will be to execute this task.'
