[Pansen Macro: The Fed will have to make an interim assessment of the new fiscal policy outlook next month] Golden Finance reported that Pansen Macro analyst Samuel Thomas said in a report that the Fed is "delaying" until the fiscal outlook is clearer. He said that the Fed cut interest rates by 25 basis points as expected, and the statement was almost a "replica" of the September statement. Nevertheless, Thomas said that Fed officials will have to make an interim assessment of the new fiscal policy outlook next month when they release a summary of their quarterly economic forecasts. Pansen Macro expects the Fed to cut interest rates by a further 25 basis points in December and hint at a further 100 basis point cut in 2025.
