The Bitcoin mailing list and its historical records have been removed from Linux

According to Protos, the Bitcoin developer mailing list (bitcoin-dev) and its nearly decade-long history have been removed from the Linux Foundation, marking the closure of this historic forum. The Linux Foundation ceased support for the mailing list at the end of 2023, prompting the Bitcoin core development team to migrate the list to Google Groups. Bitcoin developer Bryan Bishop has uploaded the historical records of the list, including records on SourceForge.net and OSUOSL platforms, to Google Groups to preserve some archives. Email was once the primary channel for Bitcoin development discussions, but with the advancement of communication technologies, many developers have gradually shifted to using instant messaging, social media, and private servers for communication.
