On the morning of November 5th, local time, after the polling stations in various states of the United States opened one after another, Harris posted several posts on X to urge people to vote. Trump also released campaign ads on social platforms. Harris first released a poster saying "Today is Voting Day" and wrote: "America, now is the time to make your voice heard." Then he posted, "Election Day is here. Today, we vote because we love our country and we believe in America's promises," and reiterated the slogan "Let your voice be heard." Then he advertised for the voter assistance hotline, "Your vote is your voice, and your voice is your power. If you need help voting, please call the voter assistance hotline." Then he further called on voters to encourage people around them to vote. "Knock on doors. Call voters. Contact friends and family. Together we will write the next chapter of the greatest story ever." Trump released a one-minute campaign ad on his "Truth Social" platform, with the narrator repeating "We fight, we fight, we fight (we fight)" many times, and showing the classic shot of Trump raising his fist when he was assassinated.
