Additionally, Polymarket's Senior Development Director Armand Saramout sought to establish sponsorship agreements with American social media KOLs in September. In recent weeks, Instagram influencers with large followings have been posting Polymarket-sponsored content using tags like #PMPartner and #PolymarketPartner. A spokesperson for Polymarket confirmed contact with the American market, but stated that this effort is not intended to stimulate trading from American visitors. He stated in a statement: 'We have engaged with influential figures from both parties to promote our data and drive traffic and attention to polymarket.com; 99% of visitors are just browsing the news and not trading.'
