According to analyst @defioasis, in the past 24 hours, RUNE (THORChain) has dropped 15%, possibly due to the selling by a Kraken whale causing panic in the community. Whale: thor1j5ju…298n withdrew 2,849,998.62 RUNE, worth about $12.35 million, from Kraken early this morning; then sold it through ThorSwap to convert to BTC; the whale's strange behavior caught the attention of Node Operators in THORChain and interrupted trading. However, after Nine Realms, the Node Operators, sought assistance from Kraken Support, it was confirmed that the whale's withdrawal was a compliant transaction. Ultimately, the whale only completed part of the transaction through ThorSwap, successfully converting 9.69 BTC, all of which was transferred to Kraken; and transferred the remaining 2,705,679 RUNE entirely to Binance.
