Deep Tide TechFlow news, on November 5, according to Cointelegraph, Bitcoin mining giants Marathon Digital and Riot Platforms announced that their Bitcoin production in October reached its highest level since the Bitcoin halving in April. Marathon Digital produced 717 Bitcoins in October, worth $48.8 million.
Marathon CEO Fred Thiel stated that this is partly due to the company's powered hash rate rising over 14%, reaching over 40 EH/s.
In addition, the increase in transaction fees in October also boosted Marathon's overall Bitcoin production, accounting for about 5% of the total output. Meanwhile, Riot mined 505 Bitcoins in October, worth $34.4 million, a month-on-month increase of 22.6%. Riot attributed the growth to its hash rate increasing from 28.2 EH/s in September to 29.4 EH/s, due to the installation of new MicroBT miners at the Corsicana facility.
