The month of #Blocktober has certain flew by and it's been nothing short of amazing, as expected! 🎉 The team managed to attend quite a few prominent events, such as GameOn, #Solana HackerHouse, FinTech Week, the #Cyberport Venture Capital Forum and more. 🙂 One of the highlights of the month was definitely #HongKongFintechWeek, which was a pivotal gathering of financial institutions, innovative projects and enthusiasts in the bustling city of #HongKong. A lot of discussions were made on the future of #Web3, #AI and the convergence of both #TradFi and #DeFi. 🌐 While Blocktober might be over, we believe ecosystem growth is an ongoing journey. Yesterday we also managed to pop by Not Your Token - an event celebrating some of the most influential women in #technology in the Asia Pacific region, hosted by AllStarsWomen DAO, Women in Blockchain Alliance, and WEB3WED. 👥 The event was a deep dive into the latest trends in #blockchain, #AI and upcoming technologies. Some projects were there to showcase demos of their product while getting feedback from the participants, with a fun public vote at the end for each attendee's favourite demo. It was a really good opportunity for founders to gain valuable insights on their project in a nurturing and supportive environment. 😊 The panel sessions were also relevant - covering what investors are looking for in the growing ecosystem and how teams are tackling an AI-first organization. As #Blocktober comes to an end, we're reminded that these gatherings are important to bring together like-minded people in the space, while also welcoming newcomers interested in the field, for the long-term growth of the ecosystem. 🌐 #OAX #crypto #web3 #web3community #cryptocommunity

#HongKongFintechWeek Day 2 was also a hustle and bustle of activities! 🙂 A lot of the sessions were centered around #AI, #payments, regulations and funding in the space. The panelists from 'Web 3.0 Funding: The New Rules of the Game' highlighted how it feels like this year's bull market has felt more muted than previous bull runs - without the massive hype of "trends" such as NFTs - but it isn't necessarily a bad thing from a Web3 investor and project perspective, as this allows them to really get to know and evaluate different solid projects, while projects can focus on BUIDLing great products. ✅ Apart from the main conference at Asia World Expo, there were many other satellite events and happenings across the city for #Blocktober and #Fintech Week - it's really positive to see this level of activity and enthusiasm for the space.
