BlockBeats news, on October 31, according to official sources, the one-stop cross-chain development kit SwapKit announced that Ledger has integrated the first decentralized cross-chain exchange protocol THORChain into the Ledger Live application.
By integrating THORChain, Ledger provides users with a secure and seamless cross-chain trading experience. Users can now enjoy the flexibility of decentralized finance and asset security while maintaining full ownership of their digital assets. This integration is made possible by SwapKit's innovative cross-chain software development kit and infrastructure solutions.
Keaton Freeman, Business Development Director at SwapKit, stated: "By combining the powerful cross-chain toolset of THORChain through SwapKit with Ledger's robust security, we are simplifying the user experience and embracing a truly decentralized multi-chain future."
With the THORChain integration, Ledger users can perform cross-chain exchanges of BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, DAI, and WBTC, with support for more ERC-20 tokens coming soon. All assets are handled directly within the Ledger Live desktop application: no need to leave the app, undergo KYC, or create new accounts.
