Wu Says learned from Hana's Twitter that on the evening of October 24, a certain DWF partner placed unidentified objects into her drink multiple times in a bar in Hong Kong. DWF responded that the partner is accused of inappropriate and unacceptable behavior, and during the investigation, DWF Labs decided to immediately remove that partner from management and operational duties.
The specific process is: both parties drank at the bar; the female went to the restroom, and the male took an unidentified object from his pocket and added it to the female's drink three times. The female returned and took a few sips; the male stepped outside to take a phone call, after which the waitress alerted her about the male's behavior. The female returned to Hong Kong on October 29 to report to the police and retrieved the surveillance footage. The female claimed two waitstaff also testified to this. Wu Says reviewed the relevant footage and confirmed the aforementioned behavior.
The video shows that the male involved is Eugene Ng, a partner at DWF. In addition to being a partner at DWF, Eugene Ng is also a co-founder of the RWA project OpenEden, which has received investment from Binance. OpenEden has suspended Eugene Ng from his position at the company and removed him from the management and operations of the company and its affiliates. DWFLabs announced on social media that Lingling Jiang will formally take over as the company's partner, responsible for leading strategic business development efforts.

Hana: I should still not fully consider myself a part of the crypto circle. I work at a traditional dollar fund, but I am looking for a job in the crypto space.
In April this year, during Hong Kong Blockchain Week, I met DWF. Later, at KBW, I met Eugene at the event. He invited me to dinner, and we had a pretty good chat. We also met at Singapore Token 2049. He told me he had sent my resume to many people. During this time, he did provide me with Alpha, but I didn't understand and didn't make any trades.
We have been keeping in touch; maybe every two or three days, he would check on me. He often cared about me, asking if I was happy today, but at that time, I did not feel he had any ulterior motives. Overall, I thought he was very much a gentleman.
Before everything happened in the bar on October 24, I had no defenses at all. I never thought he would do something like drugging.
When the time came for the Solana hackathon, Eugene told me that as long as I bought a plane ticket, he would take care of the rest. He asked me when I would arrive. I said I would arrive on the morning of the 24th, and he said we could have dinner together.
Around 8:15 PM on October 24, he sent me the address of the bar, and I went there. Throughout the process, nothing seemed suspicious except for the above statement. He also asked me if I needed to put my luggage at his hotel. I still booked my own hotel.
I arrived at the bar before him. I sent him a message saying I really liked this bar. It has a stylish design, bright lights, and I really liked the entire decor style and the music.
Around 8:25 PM, Eugene arrived at the bar and began talking about people he met at the Solana event. I felt he was trying hard to help me find a job suitable for me, and I cherished this opportunity.
He began talking about his family, saying he might retire from the circle in a couple of years, discussing his faith, that he goes to church every week. He said his marriage was very unhappy, that his wife is very wealthy, has two children, and they often argue due to many disagreements. He said he came from a very poor background, having slept in hostels, airports, and even on the streets. He said he bought his wife a big villa. In short, he expressed that his career is very successful, but his family is very painful. He also told me that their sexual life was not good and that they slept in separate beds. Looking back now, this might have been a setup.
Around 10 PM, he said there was a conference call for a project and started making calls from his seat. Around 10:15 PM, I went to the restroom (the time when the drugging occurred) and returned to my seat a few minutes later.
We subsequently drank again, and I had about a third of it.
At that moment, Eugene said the bar was too noisy and needed to step outside to take a phone call.
As soon as he went out, the waitress ran up to me and told me in English: I think the guy put something in your drink.
The waitstaff indicated that it was the French couple at the next table who saw this incident and informed her. The waitstaff checked the surveillance and then decided to tell me and helped me switch to another drink.
Appendix: The surveillance footage reviewed by Wu Says shows that after Hana left, Eugene took out what appeared to be drugs from his thigh pocket, looked around, picked up Hana's wine glass, and repeatedly added what appeared to be a powdered substance three times before quickly placing it back on the table and wiping his hands with a napkin. Hana drank from the glass upon her return. The entire drugging process took less than a minute.
I was stunned at that moment, leaning my head on my hands, frozen for dozens of seconds, my mind blank. I couldn't believe it because in many ways he made me feel like a pretty good person.
I even felt there was a significant possibility that this incident was fake; maybe someone misinterpreted it. Because if this is true, it’s too terrifying.
I felt I couldn't wrongfully accuse Eugene, so I had to confirm whether this matter was true or false. After he returned, I asked him if I could change my drink. He immediately became very nervous, snatching his glass away, nearly spilling the drink.
Then I said maybe I would change to another drink and order a new one. He immediately expressed strong opposition, saying not to waste this drink and insisted that I must not change it and drink it immediately.
At this point, I no longer harbored any illusions; I even started to feel a bit scared because I had already drunk a third (of the drugged drink). The whole tugging process was long; he kept asking me why I wasn't drinking and was eager for me to drink.
Around 11:45 PM, I said I was full and wanted to leave. I ordered an Uber in advance, but it was particularly difficult to get one at that moment; I couldn't get one, so I went outside. Hong Kong has various steps, and I felt dizzy and squatted down immediately. Eugene told me not to squat, to stand up, and kept pulling me up, making me lean against him and placing my hand on him.
I felt very uncomfortable, my head was very dizzy, I was genuinely a bit scared, wanted to push him away, but I didn't have the strength. He just rested my hand on his shoulder. I tried to calm myself down a bit and then immediately squatted down again, doing this back and forth about three times. But I still couldn't get a taxi, and I was very anxious.
Eugene started saying things to me: Let me take you for a taxi. I have a suite at Murrary. If you treat me better, I can give you more insider information. Being a girl is too hard; you actually don't need to work in crypto projects. I can provide you with Alpha to make money. This has been talked about many times, including how tough it is in the crypto space.
Later, I canceled that Uber and took a taxi directly. I finally waited for one, looked at the six-minute wait, but I still told him I hadn't gotten one, wanting to lower his guard and delay the time.
My car finally arrived, I was scared he would do something to me again. At that moment, I really felt dizzy, so I kept squatting on the ground. He pulled me up, and I hugged my legs with both hands, refusing to stand up.
So he squatted down, supporting me with his hand, getting very close while talking to me, and I felt dizzy, then held on for six minutes.
He kept asking me to go to his hotel. I said I had already booked one and couldn't cancel, then he said he would cover all my expenses and transfer me USDT. At that moment, I was already very angry, and I said stop saying that, I spoke very firmly.
I told him my car had arrived. He wanted to get in the car with me; he even opened the car door for me. I said no, I’ll do it myself. So I got in, and my legs were already weak. I saw him trying to get in the car, and I was so scared that I used the last bit of strength to slam the door shut and told the driver: Go!
The driver might have experienced something similar; he stepped on the gas and rushed out. I felt like I was on a roller coaster.
After returning, I lay on the couch for about twenty minutes, mainly in a state of dizziness. Although I don't drink much, I shouldn't be so weak. That kind of fatigue, inability to exert strength is not the state of being drunk.
At that time, I felt very lucky; if this had happened, the consequences would have been unimaginable. I truly felt disgusting. I am very grateful that the waitress told me.
I also feel very scared. I never thought about how to confront him because I'm nobody; no one in the crypto circle would listen to me.
Although I didn't look at the surveillance at that time, I was curious how he put that thing in because the light was so bright; normally, no one would dare to do that.
I thought about it; he should be a veteran, and he might have harmed many people already. He would probably continue doing this. I felt that was not right, so I made the first call to my best friend in the circle.
He said he would accompany me to Hong Kong, so I booked a flight for 8 AM on October 29. After getting off the plane, I had a meal to calm down and drank a cup of coffee. I first went to the bar, but it was not open, so I went directly to the police station.

The police recorded all the information, and I recounted what happened. I took the police report to the bar to check the surveillance footage. Upon entering, I was surprised to see the same waitress (suspected to be of Filipino descent) who had previously alerted me! Earlier, Eugene said he was friends with one of the bar's shareholders; I was a bit afraid they might collude.
Seeing the waitress, I was very excited because she is a good person. When I first entered, I was prepared to pretend that I lost something (afraid of collusion), but when I saw it was her, I didn't act and directly told her.
She also said she was very surprised; they had never encountered such a thing. Everyone was shocked; no one would dare to do this in such a bright place.
She came up and asked me how it went. I kept talking, and without saying a word, she brought over the iPad to check the surveillance, and the waitstaff gathered around, all looking at me.
Soon we found the 'drugging segment.'
Before this, I still had some hope for a person, but when I really saw Eugene's face and his hand (three times putting drugs into my glass), that feeling was like you really ate shit.
The waitstaff were all shocked, saying, so fucked up, I've never seen anyone doing this. They kept saying this kind of person must be a habitual offender, the smoothness of the actions suggests he must have done this many times before and succeeded, so he dared to do such things so openly without fear. In such a state, he managed to complete these things so quickly.
I took the video and returned to the police station. The police said I was really lucky; they could tell he was a habitual offender, very skilled. The police indicated they would assist me in the investigation. Unfortunately, I did not report on the day of the incident, and without physical evidence, although there were witnesses and surveillance, he would certainly deny it and refuse to admit it. The most important thing was that physical evidence, that glass of wine. The police were also concerned for my safety, telling me to be careful, as disclosing the surveillance video might infringe on personal privacy.
I thought, regardless of whether the police can arrest him, I must speak out about this. So, on the night of October 29, I sent out a tweet. The speed at which the incident spread was completely beyond my expectations because I only had a little over 50 followers. I was always worried that when I posted it, no one would see it; fortunately, my friends were continuously supporting me and finding people to retweet.
The most unexpected part of the process was that someone sent me a coin. A friend told me that I needed to clarify that this had nothing to do with me.
After posting the tweet, Eugene contacted me, saying, Let me know if you're up to chat. He then sent several similar messages and called me multiple times, all of which I did not answer.
I feel that with the current speed of dissemination, the traffic has probably exploded. I am still very satisfied; I feel that everyone is very positive in helping to retweet, and I am very happy and reassured. This is very different from what I imagined because I was very afraid that no one would care.
