【Analyst Benjamin Cowen shared the view: 'Ethereum is not dead'】
As the digital currency market rises, Ethereum (ETH) has become the focus. Although Ethereum has shown decent growth recently, rising 2% to $2,675.24 in the past 24 hours and growing 4% in the past week, its growth rate still lags behind Bitcoin. Bitcoin jumped 8.68% in the past week, just 1.92% away from its all-time high, while Ethereum is still 45.2% away from its peak.
Market analyst Benjamin Cowen pointed out that the ETH/BTC price chart continues to trend downward, but it is expected to bottom out this quarter and show upward movement in 2025. He believes that once ETH/BTC breaks above the 50-day moving average, it may confirm the bottom and potentially have room for a rebound in the coming weeks.
In addition, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin recently shared the long-term plans for Ethereum. The Ethereum protocol aims to gradually achieve lighter and more cost-effective node operation, with the expectation that anyone will be able to run a node via mobile devices within ten years, providing support for Ethereum's future valuation.
