Has the direction changed?
Data is bearish, Bitcoin hasn't moved much, market sentiment is still there, and the bulls are holding strong.
But today some altcoins are saying, in the words of a fan, "when Bitcoin shivers, altcoins start to drop." Today it really is like that; aside from Ethereum's unexpected surge, other altcoins are retreating one after another.
Old Li thinks it’s a good thing; there were a few targets he didn’t manage to enter a couple of days ago. He hopes to catch more this time. It would be best if Bitcoin returns to around 70,000, at which point altcoins would at least drop by ten percent. In this kind of market, making short trades is much more enjoyable.
Old Li still insists on today’s strategy; he has also caught the shiver at 72,080. Unless tonight sees a direct dip below 70,000 to make Old Li give up, he won’t consider the disadvantages in the short term. There’s no need to look at any technical indicators. Bitcoin has taken a long time to reach this position. During this period, the market won’t just be a fleeting moment. He doesn’t want to think about anything; right now, Old Li just wants to be a speculative trader, relying on faith to make gains.
Of course, this is said partly in jest. Old Li mentioned today that if a trend change is really to happen, a doji candle must form today. If that’s the case, Bitcoin will at least need to return to around 72,500 before dawn. So, the chance of a downward spike tonight is very high. For those who follow Old Li, just hold on to Bitcoin from this morning and keep your stops in place.
