In 2011, a Reddit user called “Bitcoin Billionaire” shared that he had mined 20,000 Bitcoins using his home computer. At the time, Bitcoins were not very valuable, so he found it funny to hoard so much, even joking that one day he would be rich enough to buy a yacht or at least a pizza.
However, instead of waiting patiently, a few months later he made an impulsive decision. Seeing the slight increase in the value of Bitcoin, he decided to sell all 20,000 BTC to... buy a used Honda Civic! Yes, all those Bitcoins for a used car. He was very excited about the deal and felt like he got a good deal.
